Switching the system on or off

Ports for USB devices
 You can connect external USB drives to the USB ports or a USB printer
which will be available to all the users in the local network.
The USB port on the front of the server can also be used for the one-
touch copy function.
NOTE!
Before using the one-touch copy function, please read
the relevant instructions in "Copying files with the OTC
button" on page 74
9. Switching the system on or off
 To switch the LifeCloud system on, press the on/off button for about 3
seconds until you hear a short beep.
 The operating system of the LifeCloud system will boot up. Afterwards,
LED 3 lights up permanently blue.

10. Initial operation

NOTE!
Make sure that no devices are connected to the USB
ports of the LifeCloud system before initial start-up.
Before you use the product for the first time, you are required to
enter a name for the LifeCloud system and to set up a user account via your
browser (on your computer or smart device).
