CORRECTION
1. It is normal for the fan to
continue to run after the 3M™
PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Light is shut off to
allow for additional cooling.
1. Re-insert the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack into the 3M™
PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Battery Charger.
2. The 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Battery Charger will detect a hot Battery
Pack, and will charge the battery at a
slower rate. When the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack cools, charging
will resume at a normal rate and the red
light will illuminate.
3. Charge the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack. NOTE: The
lights will blink for a time, then
eventually turn red. If after several hours
the light does not turn red, this indicates
the Battery Pack is faulty. Replace the
Battery Pack.
4. Insert a different 3M™ PPS™
SUN GUN™ II Battery Pack into the
3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Battery Charger. If the new Battery Pack
charges correctly, then the original
Battery Pack is defective and should
be returned to a service center for
recycling.
5. If a new Battery Pack produces the
same error, have the Battery Charger
tested at an authorized service center.
1. Replace the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack. If the light stays
red, replace the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Charger.
2. Replace the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack.
