Preliminary checks
Switch off Pulsar EX treme 700C,
1000C or 1500C using the "on/off"
button located on the front panel of the
unit (see the Pulsar user manual);
Check that the rating shown on
identification plates of Pulsar EX treme
700C, 1000C or 1500C and Pulsar
EX treme 1500C Transfo corresponds
to the input voltage specification.
Installation
(see figure 1)
Use the computer cord to supply input
power to Pulsar EX treme 1500C
Transfo as shown;
Connect the computer cord between
Pulsar EX treme 1500C Transfo input
receptacle, and a nearby utility power
outlet.
Attention: following connection,
voltage is present on the output
receptacle of Pulsar EX treme 1500C
Transfo.

Safety rules
The rating of input power cord must
be not less than the nominal input
rating of Pulsar EX treme 700C, 1000C
or 1500C: 230 V - 10A. This cord and
the utility power outlet must be a 2-pole
3-wire grounded;
Use the supplied IEC cord with
Pulsar EX treme 1500C Transfo to
connect Pulsar EX treme 700C, 1000C
or 1500C to the output receptacle of
Pulsar EX treme 1500C Transfo;

Functions
Pulsar EX treme 1500C Transfo is
delivered with an unearthed neutral
system (IT). Make sure your electrical
installation complies with the standards
in force;
Full galvanic isolation between the
connected equipments to Pulsar
EX treme 700C, 1000C or 1500C and
the input line (see figure 2).
The feature allows you to:
- connect the number of applications
that you want (within the limit of
nominal power) without worrying about
your electrical installation,
- work with a downstream neutral
system (as regards to the loads)
different from the upstream neutral
system (AC input power);
Contact a qualified person if you need
to modify the neutral system
downstream of Pulsar EX treme 1500C
