•
Direct Inject Box (DI box)-
of Mic Tube, then use the MicTube's balanced output to send the signal to the next stage

Quick Setup
1.
First make sure the MicTube is powered off. Then connect your instrument or microphone cables to the MicTube's XLR or
¼" inputs.
2.
Once cable connections have been made, power on the MicTube.
3.
Apply phantom power if your mic requires this.
4.
Slowly increase the Gain control knob on the MicTube, noting the output level LED to ensure levels do not clip.
5.
If you continually clip even after adjusting the gain, turn on the -20dB pad.
6.
Adjust the Drive knob to your liking.
Note: The Drive knob needs to be turned up slightly in order for any signal to pass through the MicTube.
Rackmounting
The MicTube can mount to a standard "universal" rack shelf, available from various rack manufacturers or your music dealer.
The MicTube conforms to single-space mounting, and up to two MicTube preamplifiers may be mounted side-by-side in a
standard universal EIA 19" equipment rack.
