The help texts in the PC software indicate whether or not
the operating system has detected the USB program-
ming stick correctly.
• Whe n the sof t wa re is ready to se nd data , the
"Submit" button will be available for selection and "USB
programming stick is ready" will appear on the bottom
left of the display.
• If the USB programming stick cannot be detected or is
not plugged in, "Please insert the USB programming
stick" will appear.
You should make sure that you always have the
l a te s t up d a te s fo r yo u r W in dows op e r a ting
system installed.
If the PC software is unable to find the programming stick,
you can look for it in the Windows Device Manager:
• The device will be listed as an "HID-compliant device"
under "Human Interface Devices".
• With the Device Manager open you can unplug the USB
programming stick and plug it back in; it should then
appear in the list of devices.
• If an exclamation mark appears in front of the device,
you should update the Windows drivers.
