Istruzioni per l'uso Teleswitch TSE10
1. Descrizione del prodotto
Teleswitch TSE10 serve per inserire e disinserire apparecchi elettrici sul posto o tramite una
linea telefonica analogica. La tensione di esercizio dei consumatori deve essere di 230 V AC; la
corrente massima non deve superare i 10 A. L'apparecchio è protetto da un codice di accesso
modificabile. Il TSE10 può essere comandato soltanto tramite un telefono con selezione a toni.

2. Messa in servizio
1. Collegare il TSE10 a una presa di corrente.
2. Allacciare il TSE10 alla rete telefonica analogica con il cavo telefonico in dotazione.
3. Collegare il consumatore da commutare alla presa di corrente del TSE10.
Inserimento/Spegnimento manuale
1. Premere il pulsante EIN, finché il LED EIN diventa rosso. Il consumatore è acceso.
2. Premere il pulsante AUS, finché il LED EIN si spegne. Il consumatore è spento.
Impostare il codice di accesso
Il codice di accesso può essere impostato a piacimento tra "0000" e "9999". L'impostazione di
fabbrica è "0000".
1. Chiamare il numero di telefono a cui è allacciato il TSE10.
2. Dopo 6 squilli il TSE10 risponde e si sentono diversi segnali acustici brevi.
3. Digitare *0000#; il TSE10 conferma l'immissione corretta con un segnale acustico lungo.
4. Digitare *9*, poi il nuovo codice di accesso a 4 cifre e terminare l'immissione con #.
Esempio:
cambiare il codice di accesso da "0000" a "1234":
chiamare, segnali acustici brevi, *0000#, segnale acustico lungo, *9*1234#
Nota: negli esempi seguenti il codice di accesso è "1234"!
Se si dimentica il nuovo codice di accesso, ripristinare l'impostazione di fabbrica "0000" pre-
mendo contemporaneamente i pulsanti ON e OFF per circa 5 secondi.
Inserimento/Spegnimento tramite chiamata
1. Chiamare il numero di telefono a cui è allacciato il TSE10.
2. Dopo 6 squilli il TSE10 risponde e si sentono diversi segnali acustici brevi.
3. Digitare *(codice di accesso)#; il TSE10 conferma l'immissione corretta con un segnale acu-
stico lungo.
4. Digitare *1# per l'inserimento oppure
*0# per lo spegnimento.
Inserimento per un intervallo determinato
È possibile inserire il TSE10 per un determinato intervallo (1 – 99 ore). Procedere come descrit-
to per l'inserimento normale tramite chiamata. Al termine digitare *1*, seguito dal numero delle
ore e terminare con #.
Esempio:
inserimento di un consumatore per tre ore
chiamare, segnali acustici brevi, *1234#, segnale acustico lungo, *1#*1*3#
Teleswitch TSE10 Operating Instructions
1. Product Description
The Teleswitch TSE10 is an electronic control unit, which is used to switch electrical devices
ON and OFF either locally or by using a touch tone telephone connected to an analog tele-
phone line. The operating voltage of the device(s) to be controlled must be 230 VAC. A maxi-
mum of 10 A can be switched. TSE10 access is protected by a user programmable access code.

2. Commissioning
1. Insert the TSE 10 into a 230 VAC socket.
2. Connect the TSE10 with the analog telephone network using the supplied telephone cable.
3. Connect the electrical device(s) to be controlled to the socket on the TSE10.
--> Manually Switching ON and OFF
1. To switch ON the electrical device(s) being controlled, press the EIN button until the EIN
LED lights red. The electrical device(s) being controlled are then powered.
2. To switch OFF the electrical device(s) being controlled, press the AUS button until the ON
LED no longer lights. The electrical device(s) being controlled are then no longer powered.
--> Entering the Access Code
You can enter any arbitrary access code between "0000" and "9999". NOTE: The factory setting
is "0000" and should be changed for security. To enter your access code, proceed as follows:
1. Ring the telephone number to which the TSE10 is connected.
2. After 6 rings, the TSE10 answers and you will hear several short tones.
3. Enter *0000# which the TSE10 confirms with a long tone.
4. Now enter *9* followed by your new 4-digit access code. Enter # to close the entry sequence.
Example: Change the access code from "0000" to "1234":
Ring the number, short tones, *0000#, long tone, *9*1234#
--> Forgotten Access Code
If you have forgotten the access code you entered, reset the TSE10 back to the factory setting
of "0000" by simultaneously holding down the ON and OFF buttons for 5 seconds.
--> Switching ON / Switching OFF using a telephone call
1. Ring the telephone number to which the TSE10 is connected.
2. After 6 rings, the TSE10 answers and you will hear several short tones.
3. Enter *AccessCode# which, if correct, the TSE10 confirms with a long tone.
4. Enter
*1# to switch ON or
*0# to switch OFF.
Note: Access code "1234" is assumed already programmed in all the following examples.
--> Switching ON for a specific time
You can switch ON the TSE10 for a specific time (1 to 99 hours). To do this proceed as for the
usual switch ON using a telephone call. Then additionally enter *1* followed by the number of
hours and then enter a # to complete the sequence.
Example: Switch ON the device(s) to control for three hours:
Ring the number, short tones, *1234#, long tone, *1#*1*3#

Interrogazione dello stato

5. Se si sente un segnale acustico lungo, il consumatore è acceso;
se si sentono due segnali acustici brevi, il consumatore è spento.
Impostare il numero di squilli
Il numero di squilli prima della risposta può essere impostato tra 1 e 16.
1. Chiamare il numero di telefono a cui è allacciato il TSE10.
2. Dopo 6 squilli il TSE10 risponde e si sentono diversi segnali acustici brevi.
3. Digitare *(codice di accesso)#; il TSE10 conferma l'immissione corretta con un segnale acu-
stico lungo.
4. Digitare *8*(numero squilli)#
Esempio:
impostare 7 squilli prima della risposta
chiamare, segnali acustici brevi, *1234#, segnale acustico lungo, *8*7#

4. Problemi e rimedi
- Dopo un'immissione errata si sentono 4 segnali acustici brevi; è possibile proseguire senza
chiamare nuovamente l'apparecchio.
- Se si attende troppo prima di effettuare un'immissione (circa 15 secondi), è necessario riap-
pendere e ripetere la chiamata.
- Dopo una chiamata, il TSE10 rimane bloccato per circa 2 minuti. Per gestire in parallelo una
segreteria telefonica o un fax, assicurarsi che il TSE10 risponda per primo. In questo modo,
il chiamante riappende e riprova. Dato che il TSE10 rimane bloccato per 2 minuti, la funzio-
ne desiderata può essere eseguita.

You can program the number of rings before the TSE10 answers between 1 and 16 as follows.
1. Ring the telephone number to which the TSE10 is connected.
2. After 6 rings, the TSE10 answers and you will hear several short tones.
3. Enter *AccessCode# which, if correct, the TSE10 will confirm with a long tone.
4. Enter *8*(Number of rings) #
Example: Set 7 rings before the TSE10 answers:
Ring the number, short tones, *1234#, long tone, *8*7#

4. Troubleshooting
- If you make an incorrect entry you will hear 4 short tones. You can then redo your entry with-
out first again ringing the TSE10.
- If you wait longer than approx. 15 seconds with your entry, you will have to ring off and again
ring the TSE10 telephone after waiting at least 2 minutes (see next step).
- Following each ring off, the TSE10 remains blocked for approx. 2 minutes. If you are operat-
ing a telephone answering unit or a facsimile unit parallel to the TSE10, ensure that the
TSE10 answers first. Unsuccessful callers or fax transmissions will be successful on a sec-
ond try because the TSE10 then remains blocked for 2 minutes.
