Please note the following points when connecting an HDMI-compatible
device:
− Switch the television and the Lifesmart TV off. Now switch on the
television, wait approx. 30 seconds and then switch on the Lifesmart
TV.
− The video input on the television must be set to the Lifesmart TV.
− The television must support HDMI resolutions.
Connecting the Lifesmart TV to a television with AV socket
 Using the audio/video cable supplied, connect the AV OUT port on the
Lifesmart TV to the audio/video inputs on the television. This output only
supports PAL resolutions. If you want to enjoy the full benefit of HD, you
will need to use the HDMI output.
Digital optical connection
 In order to transmit the digital audio signals to a digital audio unit,
connect the SPDIF port on the Lifesmart TV to the corresponding socket
on your digital audio unit (e.g. an A/V amplifier) with an optical fibre cable
(Toslink cable - not supplied with the product).

Network connection

 Connect the RJ45 socket on the Lifesmart TV to a network interface (e.g.
a router) using a network cable with the correct plug fitting.
This will allow the Lifesmart TV to access enabled files in the network and
to receive internet data subject to the configuration of the router.
Connecting USB data carriers
 Connect a USB unit with removable disk function (e.g. digital camera, USB
hard drives, USB sticks, etc.) to the USB port on the rear of the product.
