  • Page 2 ENGLISH IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using your iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS. I Use iron only for its intended use. I To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquid.

  • Page 11 STEAM IRONING Be sure there is water in the reservoir. Turn the Temperature Selector between settings 5 and 7. Unlatch the Steam Button to the "Up" position. If steam doesn't start, gently bump the soleplate on the ironing board a few times.
  • Page 12 CLEANING Move the Temperature Selector to OFF, unplug the iron and allow the iron to cool completely. Wipe the soleplate and outer surfaces with a soft cloth or sponge dampened in water. Never use abrasives, heavy duty cleansers, or scouring pads that may scratch or discolor the iron. 2.
