Resets the operating costs to 00.00 once the set up has been accepted.
The screen recorder can also be set up using a PC. In order to do this the following is
available:
- Diskette drive in order to read the parameters stored on a diskette.
- Rear mounted RS232/RS485 system interface ("Digital I/O" option).
1. Install the PC software delivered with the unit on the computer. If required the
operating manual for the programme can also be printed out after installation.
2. Start the programme.
3. Now the unit can be programmed using the PC. Please note the hints/help built into
the programme.
• Unit data is stored in a data base and can be recalled at
any time.
• Text input from a keyboard is easier and quicker.
• Using the same programme measured values can be
read out, archived and displayed on the PC screen.
Hints:
The interfaces cannot be simultaneously used. Select the required interface using
"Miscellaneous - Serial interfaces".
Method used with Set-up diskette:
1. Copy set-up to diskette:
- Place a formatted diskette into the unit diskette drive.
- Select "Diskette functions / Save set up to diskette" from the main menu.
- Remove the diskette from the unit and place into the PC diskette drive.
2. Match the set-up in the PC programme and save to respective data bank:
- Select "Unit / Display/change unit setup / add new unit -> Unit set-up -> New read
out from data carrier (e.g. diskette, ATA flash card)" and read the respective set up
file (*RPD) from the diskette drive (e.g. A:\).
- Match the unit settings to the desired parameters.
- Select "Finished / Store set-up into unit data base". The new set up parameters are
saved to the PC data bank.
- Transfer the new SETUP-File onto the disc in your PC. Select: "Finished / create
set-up data carrier (diskette, ATA flash card)" plus the suitable unit.
- Remove the diskette from the PC diskette drive and replace it into the unit diskette
drive.
3. Read the set up into one (or more) unit(s):
- Select "Diskette functions \ Load set up from diskette" from the main menu.
Method used with serial interface:
1. Connect the unit to the PC using the serial interface (optional "Digital I/O"),
e.g. RS 232.
2. Start the PC programme and select "Unit / Display/change unit set-up / add new
unit.
