Cannot eject disk
The disk tray does not close
Other disk operation problems
Turn on the computer.
To remove a disk when
the computer is powered
off, insert a pointed object
(e.g., the bent-out tip of a
paper clip, or the tip of a pencil or ballpoint pen)
into the emergency hole (A). Pushing it completely
to the end will free the tray so that it can be pulled
out. (The position of the emergency hole differs
depending on the drive.)
When using a software such as B's CLiP that
controls the disk removal, remove the disk while
referring to the software's operating instructions.
If a disk with fi ngerprints or other dirt is used, you
may not be able to remove it. Use a clean disk.
