Installing flow meter FRZ01
PW 6101, PW 6131, PW 6161, PW 6201, PW 6107, PW 6137, PW 6167, PW 6207, PW 413, PW 418, PW 811, PW

The flow meter can only be installed if the MF07 multifunction module is already installed and registered in the
machine.
PW 6163, PW 6243, PW 6323
The flow meter can only be installed if the "BSF-RU flow meter clean/soiled side" kit is already installed in the
machine.
During installation, the adapter must be installed as a damper between the shutoff valve and flow meter. Take note of
the arrow marked on the flow meter showing the correct direction of flow. Use the correct seals appropriate for the
pipe diameter only. In this way water can flow freely without added turbulence through the measuring area. Correct
flow measurement can only be achieved if these instructions are complied with.

Connect the flow meter to a 3/4" shutoff valve; see Fig. 1.

Connect the water intake hose or Y-piece to the flow meter; see Fig. 2.

Remove the cover plate from the electrical connection on the rear of the machine; see the model-specific TSD.

Connect the flow-meter wiring in accordance with the "MF07" wiring diagram.

Reinstall the cover plate over the electrical connection on the rear of the machine.
Flow-meter connection for PW 6107, PW 6137, PW 6167, PW 6207

Remove the machine lid; see the model-specific TSD.
A
Punch out an appropriately sized opening for the feed-through on the upper rear panel.
A
Install the feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Connect the flow-meter wiring in accordance with the "PW 6107 - PW 6207 module 7" wiring diagram.

Reinstall the machine lid.
Flow-meter connection for PW 413, PW 418, PW 811, PW 814, PW 818

Remove the machine lid; see the model-specific TSD.

Punch out an appropriately sized opening for the feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Install the feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Connect the flow-meter wiring in accordance with the "PW 8xx/4xx MF07 - FRZ" wiring diagram.

Reinstall the machine lid.

Remove the connection box lid; see the model-specific TSD.
A
Connect the flow-meter connections to the terminal strip in accordance with the wiring diagram.

Reinstall the connection box lid.
Final steps
A
Test any newly installed water-carrying components for leaks.
A
Carry out appropriate safety checks.
A
Activate the flow meter; see the "service mode" section in the model-specific TSD.
For software IDs 1000/1001 and higher, do a manual data backup; see the "service mode" section in the model-
specific TSD.
