5. If your A/V source is equipped with two A/V line outputs, then you can connect the second line output with your
TV using a three-wire A/V cable.
6. Install the cable for the IR sensor if the video source does not respond to signals from the remote control.
D. Connecting the transmitter to your camcorder
1. Use the A/V cable of your camcorder to connect its A/V output with the A/V input of the transmitter. Be careful to
connect the right jacks : the camcorder's audio right with the transmitter's audio right, audio left with audio left and
video jack with video jack.
2. Connect the DC adapter with the transmitter and then plug the DC adapter into a wall outlet.
3. Install the cable for the IR sensor if the video source does not respond to signals from the remote control.
E. Sending audio signals from your CD player or cassette deck
1. Use the RCA cable of your CD player or cassette deck to connect the audio input of your CD player or cassette
deck with the transmitter's audio input.
2. Connect the DC adapter with the transmitter and then plug the DC adapter into a wall outlet.
3. Install the cable for the IR sensor if the video source does not respond to signals from the remote control.
9. Connecting the receiver to an A/V device
Put the power switch in the OFF position. Use the A/V cable of your AVMOD15 to connect the A/V output jacks of the
receiver with the A/V input jacks of the A/V device. The RCA connectors of the A/V cable come in three colours.
Make sure the yellow, white and red plugs match on the receiver and on the A/V source!
Before connecting the power adapter with the receiver you should make sure its AC voltage rating is compatible with
the standard used in your country. Use the power adapter to connect the receiver with an AC wall outlet. Put the
power switch in the ON position and check if the power ON/OFF indicator is lit.
A. Connecting the receiver to your TV or monitor
1. Use the A/V cable to connect the receiver's A/V output to the A/V input of your TV or monitor. Be sure to connect
the video jack of your receiver with the video jack of the TV or monitor and do the same with the audio left & right
jacks. If your TV or monitor has only one audio IN jack, you should connect it with the receiver's audio OUT jack
(labelled MONO).
2. Connect the DC adapter with the receiver and then plug the DC adapter into a wall outlet.
3. Install the cable for the IR sensor if the video source does not respond to signals from the remote control.
B. Receiving audio signals on remote speakers
1. Use an A/V cable to connect the receiver's audio output with the audio input of your speakers. Be sure to connect
the right and left audio jacks of your receiver with the right and left audio jacks of the speakers.
2. Connect the DC adapter with the receiver and then plug the DC adapter into a wall outlet.

10. Channel selection

Select a transmitting channel (1 – 4) with the slide switch at the back of the transmitter.
Select a receiving channel (1 – 4) with the slide switch at the back of the receiver.
Note that receiver and transmitter must be set to the same channel!
