DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONS NATURAL GAS
The attainable capacity variation field is, indicatively, from 1 to 1/7 with respect to the maximum capacity
stated on plate. Ignition is preceded, as provided for in the regulations, by pre-ventilation of the combustion
chamber. The pre-ventilation stage for the combustion chamber takes place with the air damper at the large flame
position. At the end of the pre-ventilation stage, the air combustion air dampers are brought back to the ignition
flame position. If the pressure switch for the pre-ventilation air pressure shows sufficient pressure, the ignition
transformer is switched on and then the gas valves (main and pilot) switch on. The quantity of gas (m
ignition flame can be adjusted with the air damper servo motor (see 0002933490) and with the flow adjuster
of the two pilot light valves. The flame then appears, detected by the control device (UV photo-electric cell) that
permits completion of the ignition stage with the switching off of the ignition transformer.
The pilot circuit switches off after the main valves have opened. The amount of gas supplied with the large flame
must be adjusted with electronic control box "LMV 51...". If there is no ignition flame, the equipment carries out an
automatic system safety stop. If there is such a "safety stop", the valves immediately close again. To release the
equipment from the safety lock position, press the release button on the display.
Note: To adjust the gas valves see the specific instructions in the following pages. The air damper is worked by an
electric motor. When the damper goes to its fully closed position, the burner will stopped by the action of the
thermostat.

COMBUSTION CHECK

For a correct air/gas ratio you have to get a carbon dioxide reading (CO
minimum burner supply and up to the optimal level of 10% at maximum supply.
It is not advisable to exceed a 10% value or it could run with too little excess air. This could in turn cause (with
atmospheric pressure changes, the presence of dust in the air ducts) significant quantities of CO (carbon monoxide)
to be present in the system. To prevent dangerous situations from arising, it is essential to always check,
with a suitable instrument, that the percentage of carbon monoxide (CO) present in the fumes is not
greater than the maximum permitted level of 0.1%.
IGNITION AND GAS REGULATION (NATURAL GAS)
1) If not already done when connecting the burner to the gas pipes, taking the necessary measures and opening
doors and windows, it is necessary to bleed the air contained in the pipes. Open the union on the pipes close
to the burner, and slightly open the gas stop cock(s). Wait until you smell the typical gas smell, and then close
the cock. Wait for the necessary time, according to the specific conditions, until the gas present in the room is
dispersed outside and then restore the connection of the burner to the gas piping.
2) Check that there is water in the boiler and that the plant dampers are open.
3) Make sure that the combustion product discharge can occur freely (boiler and chimney dampers open).
4) Check that the electrical line voltage corresponds to that required for the burner, and that the electrical con-
nections (motor and main line) are preset for the available voltage value. Check that all electrical connec-
tions implemented on the spot are properly executed as per our wiring diagram.
5) Apply a pressure gauge with suitable scale to the gas pressure take-off to measure the regulation value (if the
expected pressure rate allows it, it is preferable to use a water column instrument, do not use hand instru-
ments for low pressures).
6) Regulate the air and natural gas for the ignition flame, for minimum flame and high flame, seguendi le istruzioni
nella guida rapida "LMV 51".
7) Verificare, che il motore giri nel senso corretto, se necessario, scambiare di posto due cavi della linea che
alimenta il motore trifase per invertire il senso di rotazione.
