properly stacked with no space between them.
13) Reassemble the unit with care. Make sure that the biological filtration media does
not interfere with the foam support frame (G) and that the frame is refitted
correctly.
14) The filter is now ready for start-up. Read and follow all instructions in
Filter Start-up, Operation, and Backwash-Cleaning.
NEVER use soap or detergents for cleaning. Any remaining traces may
pollute the pond and result in damage to sensitive fish tissues.

Winter Storage

The unit must be protected from frost. In cold winter weather, the unit may be
switched off. It should then be drained of water, removed from its installation and
stored in a dry, weather-proof area. It is recommended to keep the unit lid open
during storage.
UV-C Device Installation Section
For UV-C Water Filtration Upgrade the Filter by installing the UV-C
Device (sold separately)
This filter is designed to be easily equipped with a UV-C device (sold separately) to
provide UV-C filtration wich has the purpose to inhibit single celled algae growth.
For the correct installation, use, cleaning and maintenance of the UV-C device read
and follow all instruction supplied with the appropriate "UV-C" device unit.

This product is warranted for defects in material or workmanship for a
period of three (3) years from date of purchase.This warranty is valid only
under normal operating conditions for which the product is intended.
This warranty does not apply to any unit that has been subjected to
misuse, negligence, tampering, accidental damage or damage due to
faulty packaging or mishandling in transit. This warranty does not cover
normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been used
for commercial purposes. The UV-C bulb is not covered by the warranty.
No liability is assumed with respect to loss or damage to livestock or
personal property irrespective of the cause thereof. This warranty does
not affect your statutory rights. This warranty does not cover damage or
defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs,
service or alterations to the product or any of its parts, which have been
