Connecting the unit

• When using two or more switchers, mount the
IFB-12/12A IFB board to the slot 1 of the number
n switcher and connect the output connector of
the number (n+1) switcher to the IFB-12/12A.
Note
Set the DIP switch of IFB-12/12A installed to slot
1 to RGB (1:ON, 2 to 6:OFF) or OFF (all off
positions from 1 to 6).

• You can attach the signal interface board IFB-40
or IFB-12/12A (when the IN/OUT switch is set to
OUT) only to the number 1 switcher.

Notes after connecting
• Connect the terminator to the PJ COM IN/OUT
connector not in use.
Connect the terminator to the PJ COM connector not
in use to terminate the signal flow. For the projector,
connect the terminator to the PJ COM connector not
in use to terminate the signal flow, also.
• When operating the switcher with the remote
commander, set the remote control detector of
one of the switchers connected to the PJ COM IN/
OUT connectors to ON and set the others to OFF.
You can set the remote control detector of your
desired switcher to ON. To set the remote control
detector, use the CONTROL MENU.
