Spectrophotometry
Spectrophotometer CCD 2
Ref : 701 606
2.2.1 Emission
With the Emission tab, you will be able to acquire the light source spectra.
Refer to the left side of the window for all the parameters: settings and acquisitions.

ENGLISH
Play / Pause
The button allows activating or not the real time playing of the signal received by CCD
line.
The integration time or gain can be manually adjusted or, by default, automatically.
Sensitivity correction
The device sensitivity is such that the device is less sensitive at the spectral band edge.
In order to save the device sensitivity, you will be able to select the sensitivity correction
inclusion.
Saving the black
The spectrophotometer casing can slightly distort over time and from wearing out. In
order to compensate the optical noise known as « black noise » driven by unwanted
light received by the sensor, make a measurement of the black and then activate the
black inclusion.
Smoothings
Two types of filtering may be activated.
Spacial filtering
Spacial filtering aims at avoiding information peaks contained in the signal. Use it only
if spatial resolution is not important in your experiments.
Temporal filtering
Temporal filtering allows smoothing with time in order to avoid the noise related to
fluctuations of the light source.
Use it only if temporal resolution is not important in your experiments.
Note: the smoothing process becomes more important with a higher value chosen.
Warning: if smoothing is activated, it becomes active in all tabs.
