OPERATING THE UNIT
Press TARE (5) if you want to show 0 on the display. This is necessary in case value on display is different
from 0 even if nothing is on the scale, or if you want to use the "Tare" function.
Normal weighting
For weighting solid food like bread, fruit, vegetables, etc... just switch on the scale with "ON/OFF" (2) and
put food on the weighting surface.
Weighting with tare
For weighting foods like liquids, jam, flour, etc...you must use a container. To weight, follow below points:
Switch on with "ON/OFF" (2).

Put container on the scale and press "TARE" (5) to make the weight of the container as a tare.

Fill the container with the food to weight.
N.B.: if you switch on the scale with a container on it, it is not necessary to do the Tare function.
Select the measurement unit - Using the UNIT key (3), the unit of measurement can be changed from grams
(g) to once (oz) to kilograms (kg) and pounds (lb). N.B.: be careful to select the correct unit: if measuring
solids, set the indicator to WEIGHT, if measuring water, to WATER, if measuring milk, to MILK.
Exceeding load
The capacity of the scale is up to 5 Kg (11lb). If exceeding that value, the display shows EEEE. Do not
overload the scale, since this may cause serious damage. Pay attention not exceeding the max capacity (5 Kg).
Low battery indication
When the battery is down "Lo" appears and the scale switches off.
Replace the battery with a new one, following the steps shown in the "Insert batteries" section.
Clock - To set the time:

Turn the scale on in weighing mode, then press the TIME button (6) for 3 seconds.

Set the minutes with the TARE (+1) and UNIT (-1) buttons. Press the TIME button (6)

Set the hours with the TARE (+1) and UNIT (-1) buttons. Press the TIME button (6)
Timer - To set a timer/countdown:

With the scale in standby mode, press the TIME (6) and UNIT (3) buttons together for 3 seconds.

Set the minutes with the TARE (+1) and UNIT (-1) buttons. Press the TIME button (6)

Set the hours with the TARE (+1) and UNIT (-1) buttons. Press the TIME button (6)
A countdown starts and the scale will beep when it reaches zero.
You can stop the timer by pressing the TIME button (6).
SWITCH-OFF
Automatic: if scale is left for 30 seconds, it automatically switches off.
Manual: press the "ON/OFF" button (2) to go to clock mode and then to standby.
CLEANING
Clean the unit with a damp cloth and soft and non-abrasive cleaners only.
