10. Troubleshooting

Fault
The tool doesn't start.
Motor runs but the core bit
doesn't rotate.
Rate of drilling progress decreases. Water pressure / water flow rate too
Motor cuts out.
Water does not flow.
Water escapes at the gear housing. Shaft seal / water swivel / extraction
The core bit cannot be inserted in
the chuck.

Possible cause
