▲ In hazardous areas of zone 1 resp. Class 1, Division 1, only use
BBA242x.
▲ Only use the METTLER TOLEDO PANDA-EX1P certified power sup-
ply unit to connect the BBA242x to the power supply.
▲ Strictly observe the separate Installation Instructions of the
PANDA-EX1P power supply unit.
▲ It is only permitted to use a protective cover in hazardous areas if
the cover is made from statically non-hazardous material.

▲ In hazardous areas of zone 2, only use BBA242xx.
▲ Only use the METTLER TOLEDO HK-CP07-A12 certified AC adapt-
er to connect the BBA242xx to the power supply.
▲ The scale shall be installed in such a way that there is a low risk
of mechanical danger for the plastic parts of the enclosure and
the display window.
▲ The plastic surfaces must not be wiped clean or rubbed in a haz-
ardous area to avoid the ignition danger caused by electrostatic
charges.
▲ Indoor use only. Not allowed to be exposed to sunlight, or other
source of UV radiation.
▲ The scale may only be used in a dust free, dry environment (IP4X
by location).
Disposal
In conformance with the European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), this device must not be
disposed of in domestic waste. This also applies to countries outside
the EU as per their specific regulations.
➜ Please dispose of this product in accordance with local regula-
tions at the collecting points specified for electrical and electronic
equipment.
