Operating instructions (p.27)
Installation and replacement of the batteries:
1. Unscrew the battery compartment lid (B) at the rear of the
flashlight (A).
2. Remove the battery holder (C) and insert 3x AAA type batteries
(F - not included) in the battery holder. Please pay extra attention
to the correct polarity.
3. Slide the battery holder (C) back into the Flash Light (A) following
the direction of the arrow.
4. Replace the lid (B) by screwing it back onto the Flash Light (A).
Operating:

1. Remove the Herp Flashlight from the canvas belt sheath.
2. Secure wrist lanyard (E) to prevent accidental loss or dropping.
3. Press the button (G) on the back of the Flashlight once to switch
on the Flashlight in HIGH mode.
4. Then press the button (G) again to switch to the next modes: Off –
Medium – Off – Low – Off – Strobe – Off – SOS – Off
5. To use the easy zoom feature, hold the Flashlight in a tight grip
and use your thumb and index finger to shift the Flashlight's
head module (D) forward or backward to adjust the beam from
floodlight to spotlight.
Maintenance
No special maintenance is required for the Exo Terra
other than periodic cleaning with a dry clean cloth (never use harsh
chemical products or detergents). Additionally, you may apply some
petroleum jelly on threads and o-rings.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for defects in material or workmanship
for a period of 2 years from date of purchase. The guarantee is valid
with proof of purchase only. The guarantee is limited to repair or
replacement of the unit only and does not cover consequential loss
or damage of or to animate or inanimate objects. This guarantee
is valid only under normal operating conditions for which the unit
is intended. It excludes any damage caused by unreasonable use,
improper installation, negligence, tampering, or abuse of the unit. The
guarantee does not cover commercial use. For guarantee service or
spare parts contact your local pet dealer or write to the representative
in your country. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

RECYCLING
This item bears the selective sorting symbol for waste

that the product must be handled pursuant to European
Directive 2002/96/EC in order to be recycled or
dismantled to minimise its impact on the environment.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Never dispose empty batteries and rechargeable
batteries in household waste. As a consumer, you are
legally required to take batteries to your retail store or
to any other designated collection site, depending on
your local regulations.

event it cannot, please return the unit with a valid proof of purchase
