Product and function description
The 340 sound level meter measures the sound level via its built-in microphone, and
displays it via a digital LC display.
It has the following equipment features:
• Capacitor microphone
• 3,5-digit LCD display with a resolution of 0.1 dB
• Bar graph display
• 2 frequency evaluation methods (display in dB(A) or dB(C))
• 2 time evaluation methods (fast/slow)
• 6 overlapping measuring ranges with indication if the range is exceeded or fallen
below.
• Automatic range selection
• 2 outputs (AC and DC) for connection to external devices for further measured
value assessment
• An RS232 interface allows you to connect the device to a PC with an optional
cable.
• Socket for external power supply via plug-in power pack (plug-in power pack not
included in scope of supply)
• Minimum-maximum memory
• Maximum HOLD function
• Warning in the event of run down battery
• Carrying and storage case
