For the study of slow reactions causing a
change in colored solution, such as the
oxidation
spectrophotometer
determine the kinetics of this reaction.
To do this, select Kinetics. the window
shown opposite appears.
The kinetics can be studied at two different
wavelengths. If the study is at a single
wavelength - a single value is expected.
Select the time interval between two
acquisitions, then start the acquisition.
You can then stop acquisition by clicking on
Stop.
In the case of automatic stop, you can pre-
select the acquisition duration. It will
automatically stop after the set time (in
seconds).

Two wavelength ranges are available. It is
also possible to emit no excitation and still

Before any fluorescence measurement, you
need to perform a calibration. To do this,
insert a cuvette filled with solvent and click on
Calibrate, the

reference spectrum. Blackness measurement
follows this calibration. This step determines
the level of noise (optical, electronic...) to be
subtracted
