NOTE
The product may be installed on narrow frame doors with narrow frame mortice
lock from a backset of 35 mm or on full panel doors.
To avoid damage to door frames and/or glass, a shortened fixing screw
(approx. 40 mm) for the profile cylinder is required on site when installing on
narrow frame doors (depending on the installation situation).
NOTE
In the case of fire resistant doors, it is essential to ensure that the drill hole of
the profile cylinder is closed (otherwise flames will penetrate).
Only a profile cylinder (for emergency opening) or blind cylinder with fire
protection approval must be used.
Door panel
• Possible door thicknesses: 36 - 91 mm
(door thicknesses of more than 91 mm are only permitted after prior consultation
with Häfele)
• Possible door materials: metal, wood and wood material
Mortice
• The mortice must be present, and must comply with the requirements by
manufacturer BKS.
The installation requirements, in particular the dimensions of the
push bar/bar handle required for installation, can be found in the
installation instructions of the manufacturer BKS.
Lever handle
• The lever handle is firmly mounted on the exterior module of the fitting. The fitting
is therefore available as a right- or left-closing version.
• If the lever handle is to be replaced, only lever handles for emergency exit doors
(according to EN 179) may be used.
