GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Most of the Jacuzzi
whirlpool baths are available with the
backrest either on the left or right hand side. The Left-Right
version may be identified by standing in front of the bath
opposite the control panel.
Jacuzzi Europe recommends the use of the removable front
panel, available on request (but supplied with several models)
which allows easy access for any necessary maintenance. On
request, side panels for one or both of the short sides can be
supplied (excluding corner models). Panels are not available
for fitted baths.
In the corner models, a gap about 50 cm wide is left along
the entire external border of the bath to allow the assembly
and removal of the panels. For fitted baths, or those with the
control panel facing the wall, access needs to be provided for
maintenance to the electrical pump, the electric box and the
area below the control panel. This access space can be closed
with removable panels at least 45 cm high measured from the
floor (see information sheet, ref. 6). Furthermore, adequate
ventilation must be available for the bath unit, with vents
between the bath covers and the removable panels, well dis-
tributed and non-obstructed.
The baths can be installed against tiled walls and also the
floor should be tiled because the space available between the
bottom of the bath and the floor is sufficient to allow the
assembly of adequately sized siphons/siphon boxes. Make
sure that the floor drainage hole (ref. 1) is correctly positioned
for the bath drain, shown in the information sheet (height Y),
according to the type of siphon to be used (not supplied).
All models need to have the electrical box, fixed to the frame
(ref. 2), connected to the electrical supply and correctly
earthed. The cable may follow various routes as long as there
are no improvised connections. In all cases, refer to the "Elec-
trical safety" chapter.

- without taps
The water can be supplied from an external tank unit with a
wall outlet (minimum length X), positioned at references 3 or
3a indicated in the information sheet. Position 3b can be used
only when the drain is against the wall.
The above models are also available with a waste pipe fitted
with a water spout. In this case it is possible to use two fitted
taps or a single control tap (not recommended for high capacity
baths, given the latter's lower flow rate) with the water supply
coming from the waste pipe with the water supply spout.
The water pipe ( copper, 14 mm ø) for the mixed water can
come up from the floor, in the position indicated by the sym-

bol
in the diagram (ref. 4). There are alternative positions

for connecting the pipe (see 4a). Please note that the pipe
must reach the upper part of the drainage column.
If a bath unit is used without a shower diverter, it will be nec-
essary to fit a diverter after the taps to allow the future instal-
lation of a shower head.
It is recommended that the outlet for the two 14 mm ø copper
pipes for the hot and cold water is positioned on the floor in the
location marked with the symbol
(ref. 5). There are alternative positions for connecting the pipes.
Please note that the pipes must be connected to the water taps
by means of double cone joints. It is recommended that these
double cone junctions are of a sufficiently small diameter.
These baths are fitted with two "Water Rainbow" water sup-
plies (one for filling the bath and the other for recirculating
the water during the whirlpool bath giving a waterfall effect),
hot and cold water taps and a shower head.
These baths require the provision of the following connec-
tions: electricity, drainage and hot/cold water, following the
indications given for the models with taps. In the "Fonte"
model, there are 2 inspection panels (position 6a + 6b) or a
single, wider one (position 6).
The bath is fitted with two electric pumps to generate the
whirlpool effect (which can be individually controlled), two
"Water Rainbow" water supplies and hot and cold taps,
located on the shorter sides of the bath.
Under the "Water Rainbow" there is a 3-way junction con-
nected to the taps with a sealed 1/2" outlet, to which a
shower head can be connected.
This bath requires two inspection panels on both sides of the
controls, as indicated in positions 6a - 6b, as well as a small
front inspection panel, as indicated in position 6c. With regard
to the remaining preparation work, follow the instructions
previously provided for the models with accessories.
