4. Initial use

4.1 Wall fastening
• Remove the wall bracket and attach it to the wall using the assembly kit provid-
ed (2 screws, 2 wall plugs).
• First mark the desired position on the wall and drill 2 holes at the appropriate in-
tervals.
• Insert the wall plugs. Then attach the wall bracket, by screwing the screws into
the wall plugs.
• Now attach the mirror to the wall by screwing in the screw on the underneath of
the wall bracket.

4.2 Inserting the batteries

In order to use the cosmetics mirror, you first need to insert the supplied
batteries. To insert the batteries, follow the steps below:
1. R emove the battery compartment lid on the rear of the device.
2. I nsert the three supplied 1.5V AA (alkaline type LR6) batteries. Make
sure that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity, according to
the label. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. C lose the battery compartment lid carefully.
4.3 Operation
• The light can be switched on or off using the on/off switch located on the rear of the mirror.
• The light intensity can be adjusted by pressing the on/off switch again. There are three light intensity lev-
els to choose from.
T he light switches off automatically after 10 minutes.

5. Care and storage

• Switch off the device each time before cleaning.
• First unplug the device and allow it to cool off. Then you can clean it with a soft, slightly moistened cloth.
Then wipe it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Only clean the appliance in the manner specified. Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the device or
accessories.
• Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
• Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes.
