Press the Bluetooth® selection button (1) to select the Bluetooth® symbol until the
Bluetooth® status LED (3) blinks blue at the Bluetooth® symbol. Note that the device
will restart each time you switch, and all existing connections will be interrupted. The
Bluetooth® channel is now ready for pairing. Now you can connect your playback
device to the EarisMAX transmitter via Bluetooth®.
The exact procedure for connecting may vary depending on your specific playback
device. We recommend consulting the user manual of your playback device for the
correct pairing steps.
Setting an Auracast™ Password
Using the earisMAX Transmitter software for Windows/MAC, you can assign an Aura-
cast™ password to the Earis MAX transmitter. This protects your Auracast™ channel
from misuse. The earisMAX Transmitter software can be downloaded and installed from
the Humantechnik website. Follow the instructions of the software to set a password.
EarisMAX Transmitter Update
Using the earisMAX Transmitter software for Windows/MAC, you can update the Earis
MAX transmitter to the latest firmware. The earisMAX Transmitter software can be
downloaded and installed from the Humantechnik website. Follow the instructions of the
software to install the latest firmware.
