Connect the analog cable to the input port 3 of the transmitter. Attach the microphone to
the speaker of your audio source.
To select input 3, press the input selection button (2) after powering on the device by
pressing the power on/off button (1) for 5 seconds. The input status LED 3 should
illuminate orange.
Please note that the volume of your audio source directly affects the volume at the
receiver. Also, note that this method provides the lowest audio quality among the given
connection options.
Toslink Input and Output (Passthrough)
If you already have a soundbar or another device connected to the Toslink port of
your TV, the EarisMAX transmitter allows you to loop the Toslink signal through the
EarisMAX transmitter, enabling simultaneous operation of the EarisMAX transmitter and
the soundbar.
To do this, connect the EarisMAX as described in „Connecting the EarisMAX Transmit-
ter to Digital Output (S/PDIF / Toslink)".
You will also need a miniToslink to Toslink cable. Connect the miniToslink end to the
output/miniToslink/analog (8) and connect the Toslink end to the soundbar.
Analog Audio Input and Output (Passthrough)
If you already have a soundbar or another device connected to the audio output of your
TV, the EarisMAX transmitter allows you to loop the audio signal through the EarisMAX
transmitter, enabling simultaneous operation of the EarisMAX transmitter and the
soundbar.
To do this, connect the EarisMAX as described in „Connecting the EarisMAX Trans-
mitter to RCA Jack". You will also need a stereo audio cable with a 3.5mm jack for
the EarisMAX transmitter. Connect the cable to the output miniToslink/analog (8) and
connect the audio jack to the soundbar.
