TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The chain saw will not start.
The chain does not stop within 2 seconds
after releasing the power switch.
The chain and/or guide bar get hot and
produce smoke.
The chainsaw does not saw well.
The chain oil is not consumed.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
In order to avoid damages on transportation, the tool has to be delivered in solid packaging. Packaging as well as the unit and accessories are made of
recyclable materials and can be disposed accordingly. The tool's plastics components are marked according to their material, which makes it possible to remove
environmental friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilities.

Possible Cause
The lock button on the power switch has not been
pressed in.
The kickback guard has released (handle in front
position).
The fuse has tripped.
The residual current device has tripped.
The power cord is not properly plugged in.
The chain is too slack.
The oil tank is empty.
The oil hole in the guide bar is blocked.
The chain is too tight.
The sprocket on the guide bar needs lubricating.
The chain is fitted backwards.
The chain is worn.
Impurities in the oil tank.
The ventilation hole in oil filler cap is clogged.
Impurities on the guide bar.
The oil outlet is blocked.

Solution
Press the lock button on the power switch.
Reset the kickback guard.
Replace the fuse.
Check and reset the residual current device.
Check the power cord and power point.
Check and tension the chain.
Top up with oil.
Clear the oil hole and chain slot.
Check and slacken the chain.
Lubricate the sprocket on the guide bar.
Check the chain and fit in the correct direction
of rotation.
File or replace the chain.
Empty the oil tank and fill with new oil.
Clear the ventilation hole.
Clear and clean the guide bar.
Clear.
