5. Metrological inspection

Generally, it is recommended that a metrological inspection is
performed every two years. However, professional users in Ger-
many are obligated to do so in accordance with the "Medical
Products Operator Ordinance" (Medizinprodukte-Betreiberver-
ordnung).
This can be performed either by UEBE Medical GmbH, an author-
ity responsible for metrology or an authorised maintenance ser-
vice. Please refer to your national regulations.
Upon request, responsible authorities or authorised mainte-
nance services receive a "Test instruction for metrological inspec-
tion" from the manufacturer.
Please only submit the device for metrological inspection togeth-
er with the cuff and the instructions for use.
Important: No modifications, e.g. opening the device (except to
replace the batteries), may be made to this device without the
manufacturer's permission.
