Installation of your new appliance
This section tells you how to use
most of the useful features. We
recommend that you read through
them carefully before using the
appliance.
•
Warning
For proper installation, this
•
display freezer must be placed
on a level surface of hard
material that is the same
height as the rest of the
flooring. This surface should
be strong enough to support a
fully loaded unit.
Using your freezer compartment
The freezer compartment
is suitable for storage of
foods required to be frozen
such as meat, fish, ice
cream and other perishable
items.
•Caution! Ensure that bottles
are not left in the freezer for
longer than needed as
freezing may cause the
bottle to break. Bottled or
canned liquids are at risk of
exploding due to volume
expansion and should not be
stored in the freezer
compartment.
Before use
Remove shipping package, tape,
•
etc., and leave doors open for a while
in order to ventilate the appliance.
The unit is cleaned before
shipment.
However, it is recommended
•
to clean the compartment
interior once after delivery.
Please insert the power supply
•
plug into the wall outlet, type
"grounded single-phase 115-127
V".
Allow the unit to operate for
•
about 1 hour to cool the
compartment before placing
items in the appliance.
Wait 5 minutes or more
before re-starting
Restarting the unit immediately
•
after it has been turned off may
cause fuses to blow and activate
the circuit-breaker. The
compressor may become
overloaded, and/or other
damage may occur.
•
Warning
Do not use the unit to store
•
water or food that requires
water as a storage medium.
Never place fresh seafood
•
containing water into the
unit directly.
