Blade Guide Adjustment - Jet JBS-12 Mode D'emploi

Note:
When the band saw is not in use, lower the blade tension.This
will prolong the blade's life.

7.4 Blade guide adjustment

Blade guide adjustment shall never be performed when the
machine is running.
Loosen the hex nut (B, Fig 24) and position the guide assembly
forward/ backward so that the teeth keep a distance of appr.
2mm to the lateral guide rollers (A).
Loosen the hex socket bolt (C) and set the lateral guide rollers
(A) so that they contact the sawblade lightly.
The sawblade may not be pushed out of place.

Loosen the hex socket bolt (E, Fig 26) and lock the back guide
roller (D) so that the distance to the saw blade is 1mm
Lower blade guide:
Loosen the hex nut (G, Fig 27) and position the guide assembly
forward/ backward so that the teeth keep a distance of appr.
2mm to the lateral guide rollers (A).
