Fault causes and remedies

Fault
The motor does not start
after pressing the ON/
OFF switch or stops during
operation.
The automatic circuit
breaker in the electrical
distribution board trips.
The magnetic clamp does
not function.
The lubrication system
does not function.

Possible cause
Rechargeable battery not
inserted.
Rechargeable battery not
charged.
The safety electronics
switched off the battery to pro-
tect it against total discharge.
The safety electronics
switched off the recharge-
able battery to protect it from
overheating.
Too many appliances con-
nected to the same power
circuit.
Charging device is defective.
Magnet not switched on.
The surface is not magnetic.
No lubricant available.
Lubricant tap closed.
Connecting nipple clogged.
Remedy
Insert the rechargeable battery.
Charge the battery.
Insert the battery into the
charging device to recharge.
The rechargeable battery is
reactivated.
Allow the rechargeable battery
to cool down. After it has cooled
down, put it back into the charg-
ing device. The rechargeable
battery is reactivated.
Reduce the number of appli-
ances on the power circuit.
Contact customer service.
Switch on the magnet.
Use a suitable base.
Top up the lubricant.
Open the lubricant tap.
Clean the tank and nipple.
