If you use frying grease, to cut it into little pieces, to dissolve it in a container,
then to pour it in the oil container (9) is advised.
Do not dissolve grease blocks directly in the oil container (9).
Do not use the fryer if the quantity of oil is lower than
the"MIN" level indicated on the container (9).
•
Close the lid (3).
• Grease the internal part of the inspection window (5) with oil to avoid the formation
of condensation and to make the inside of the cooking compartment more visible.
• Connect the power plug to the power socket making sure that the mains power cor-
responds to the one indicated on the appliance rating label; the "POWER" indicator
(12) turns on.
• Set the oil temperature depending on the food to fry type and on its quantity
(selector "14").
To set the correct temperature, see the food to fry package or the "Times and
temperatures" table (page 68). The bucket can stay in the fryer during the
heating phase.
• Turn the timer switch (15) on "ON".
• The indicator light (13) turns on (oil heating phase) and it turns off when reaching
the set temperature (the appliance is ready to for the bucket insertion).
• Remove the lid (3) by holding it from the handle (4).
• Slowly remove the bucket (10) through its handle (11).
• Insert the food to fry into the bucket (9).
Do not fill the bucket excessively (9) (Fig. F3).
Steam comes out when opening the lid (3). Operate carefully.
