Material damage caused by working on the door leaf: Dismantle and remove the lock when working on
the door leaf, for example when drilling or milling.
· Only use the factory-made drill holes for attaching the door fittings
· Dismantle and remove the lock before working on the door leaf, for example when drilling or milling.
Functional impairment caused by faulty milling of the lock recess: It must be possible to insert the lock
without force and screw it in place without distortion.
· Mill the lock recess according to the lock case dimensions.
Damage caused by dirt: Contamination damages the lock.
· Clean the lock recess and all drill holes by blowing out or vacuuming before installation.
Impaired function caused by distorted installation: All bolts must be able to close without transverse
loading.
· Install the lock, all bolts and accessories (strike plate, fittings, lever handle) without distortion.
Material damage caused by forced insertion of the latch pin into the lock follower: It must be possible
to simply push the latch pin of the door handle into the lock follower.
· Do not use any tools to push the latch pin into the lock follower.

· Use a suitable locking cylinder to operate the lock.
Comply with the power supply tolerances: Exceeding or falling below the tolerance limits will cause
damage and malfunction.
· Measure the lock to verify that the operating voltage is within the stated tolerance limits during nominal
current consumption.
