commissioning
Warning
Before performing any work on the de-
vice, shut off the power supply using the
external switch, since the zone module is
always powered. To ensure the safety and
correct operation of the module, the latter
must be started-up by a legally qualifi ed
and authorised technician.
Cleaning
All installation, dismantling, start-up and
maintenance operations that may cause
water to leak must be performed by spe-
cialised technical personnel, while the de-
vice is disconnected from the power supply.
In order to prevent any residues built-up
during installation from damaging the
module's functional components, the en-
tire system must be thoroughly cleaned,
both on the primary circuit side and sani-
tary water side.
Verify the tightness of all components of
both the module and any connected cir-
cuits. It is important to verify component
tightness before the fi lling phase, so as to
prevent splashes or leakages that may be
dangerous for the electrical parts.
Open the cut-off taps fi tted on the module
and fi ll the primary circuit according to the
indications of the storage tank manufac-
turer. In the same manner, fi ll the sanitary
water circuit while also opening a system
tap.
During the fi lling phase, re-verify the tight-
ness of all the connections. When the en-
tire system has been adequately cleaned,
stop the cleaning cycle.
Filling and draining
Fill the storage tank and the entire primary
circuit with water or an appropriate liquid,
in accordance with the plant's design indi-
cations and the features of the components
used.
When fi lling the plant, it is advisable to
open the relief outlets along the circuit.
Perform a deaeration cycle.
Upon completing the latter, check that the
operating pressure is correct. In case of
insuffi cient pressure, adjust the value by
repeating the above-mentioned procedure.
It is important to fi ll the sanitary water cir-
cuit as well, as the dry operation of the re-
circulation pump may damage the module
and the plant itself.
The drainage of safety valves equipped
with hose connector must be channelled
outwards.
