6.2) USING THE EQUIPMENT
• 6. 2.1 Raise the forking handles
(pic. 6.2.1)
• 6.2.2 Position the forks simultaneously
in the forking handles keeping the lifting
uprights of the truck in a vertical position.
If necessary adjust the translator to centre
the points far inserting the forks (pic.
6.2.2)
• 6. 2. 3 Hook the safety chain of the
container onto the horizontal beam of the
lifting group (pic. 6.2.3)
• 6. 2. 4 Move to the unloading area.
• 6.2.5 Remove the safety spring clip from
the release lever of the bottoms
(pic. 6.2.4).
• 6.2.6 Turn the safety pin (pic.6.2.5).
• 6.2.7 Position the tension wire or the
card of the releasing lever in the truck
driver's seat (pic. 6.2.6)
• 6.2.8 Raise the container about 10 cm
from the ground.
• 6.2.9 Lift the container to just above the
unloading bin.
• 6.2.10 Move forward to place the
container over the unloading bin
(pic. 6.2.7).
• 6.2.11 Pull the cord so as to release the

locking lever. At this point the bottoms
of the container open and the contents
are unloaded into the bin below (pic.
6.2.8).
• 6.2.12 Move backward to leave the
unloading zone (pic. 6.2.9).
• 6.2.13 Lower the forks to the ground
until the bottoms are completely closed
(pic. 6.2.10).
• 6.2.14 In models SL 064 and SL 153 and SL
150 hook the release lever manually (pic.
6.2.11).
In model SL 154 the lever is hooked on
automatically.
• 6.2.15 Check that the devices securing
the bottoms are well hooked on (pic.6.2.12
- pic.6.2.13 - pic.6.2.14).
• 6.2.16 Place the safety ring back on
the lever (a) far releasing the bottoms
(pic. 6.2.15 - pic. 6.2.16).
• 6.2.17 Place the safety lock of the securing
devices of the bottom (a) (pic.6.2.17).
• 6.2.18 Take the container back to its
collection point.
