UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
3.4 ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTING THE
BATTERY
Position the battery (1) in its compartment
under the seat.
Connect the two red cables (2) to the posi-
tive terminal (+) and the three black cables
(3) to the negative terminal (–) using the sup-
plied screws and following the illustrated
sequence.
Fit the spring (4) to hold the battery in place
and make sure all the wires are in front of the
battery so that they don't get caught in the
spring (4).

3.5 FITTING THE GRASS-CATCHER BRACKETS
Fit the two brackets (1) and (2) onto the rear plate in the following order, using
the screws (3) washers (4) and nuts (5) supplied:
Position the screws in the centre of the slots (6) without fully tightening them.
Attach the grass-catcher to the brackets
and make sure that there is an even dis-
tance from 6 to 8 mm between the two
plastic covers.
This allows the grass-catcher to rotate
properly during emptying and prevents
grass from falling out.
To obtain this distance, adjust the fasten-
ing position of the brackets in relation to
the slots (6) and finally tighten the screws
(3).
