Storage During Working
Breaks
Non-observance of the storage
instructions can cause starting
problems or permanent damage
as a result of fuel residues in the
carburettor.
1. Drain the fuel tank in a well-ventilated
place.
2. Start the engine and allow it to tick
over until the engine stops and the
carburettor is free of fuel.
3. Allow the engine to cool (approx. 5
minutes).
In case of working breaks of more
than 3 months:
4. Loosen the spark plug with a spark
plug wrench (see "Changing/Adjust-
ing the Spark Plug").
5. Pour a teaspoon of pure 2-stroke oil
into the combustion chamber and pull
the starter cable slowly several times
to distribute the oil inside the engine.
6. Reinsert the spark plug.
Replacement parts/
Accessories
Spare parts and accessories can
be obtained at
www.grizzly-service.eu
If you do not have internet access, please
contact the Service Centre (see "Grizzly
Sercice-Center").
Alternatively, you can obtain a 2.5 mm
thick nylon thread from specialist retailers
and wind this onto the thread reel yourself.
Ensure that the thread lies parallel in the
two thread channels and is wound in the
opposite direction to the engine rotation
direction. The engine rotation direction is
indicated with an arrow on the protective
cover.
Furthermore, the thread reel must not be
overfilled, otherwise the thread mecha-
nism will not function correctly.
