Intended purpose
The cordless garden pruner is designed only
for sawing wood. This garden pruner is not
suitable for felling trees. The device is not
intended for any other types of application
(e.g. cutting masonry, plastic or food). Us-
ing the garden pruner for work other than
that for which it is intended may result in
serious injury to the user or other persons.
The device is part of the X 12 V TEAM
series and can be operated using
X 12 V TEAM series batteries. The batteries
may only be charged using chargers from
the X 12 V TEAM series.
Any other use that is not expressly permit-
ted in this instruction manual may result in
damage to the device and pose a serious
hazard to the user.
This device is not suitable for commercial
use. The warranty is void in the case of
commercial use.
The device is designed for use by adults.
Young people over 16 years old may use
the chainsaw under supervision only.
The manufacturer is not liable for dam-
ages, which were caused through use in
applications for which it was not designed,
or incorrect operation.
The cordless garden pruner may only be
used by one person and for sawing wood.
The garden pruner must be held with the
right hand on the handgrip and the left
hand on the grip surface. Before using the
garden pruner, the user must read and un-
derstand all information and instructions in
the instruction manual. The user must wear
appropriate personal protective equipment
(PPE). Only wood may be sawed with the
garden pruner. Materials such as plastic,
rock, metal or wood containing foreign
bodies (e.g. nails or screws) must not be
processed!

The rechargeable batteries and the
charger are not included in delivery.
Dispose of the packaging material correctly.
Function description
The cordless garden pruner features an
automatic chain tensioning system.
The circulating saw chain is guided over a
blade bar (guide rail). The device is provid-
ed with various protective devices to protect
the user. Refer to the following descriptions
for the function of control elements.
