2. Press the backside of the bi-fold glass cover and you
will hear a click noise. The the bi-fold glass cover is now
locked into place.(Fig.11)

3. Open the bi-fold glass cover, place the cooking grate into
the 4 silicone grommets.(Fig 12)

OPERATION
Lighting the Cooktop
WARNING
Keep your arms and face away from being directly above the
cooking area while in operating the appliance.
DANGER

The top glass cover must be kept open when lighting and
using the cooktop.
●
Do not attempt to light more than one burner at a time.
NOTE: This range is equipped with a flame detection device on
the each cooktop burner and the oven burner. During the lighting
process, ensure that the knob is held in for 5 to 10 seconds once
the burner is lit to heat up the thermocouple. If not held in long
enough, the flame detection device will stop gas flow to the burner.
Before lighting, check and make sure all the control knobs are in
the OFF position. Make sure the main gas tank valve is opened.

4. Close the bi-fold glass cover. The cooktop is installed into
the cabinet.(Fig 13)

Standard Ignition
1.
Push and turn the appropriate burner control knob
counterclockwise to the
control knob pushed in until the burner lights.(Fig.14)

2. Once the cooktop burner is lit, keep the burner control
knob pushed in for 5 to 10 seconds.
3. Rotate the control knob clockwise or counterclockwise
to adjust the flame to desired level.(Fig.15) See the
"Burner Flame" section for proper flame.
