Positioning the pump (fig. A)
Place the machine on a flat, stable
n
underground. Make sure that the
machine is not positioned 9 m higher
than the level of the liquid to be pumped.
Connect the supply and drain hoses.
n
Mount the supply hose to connection (6)
and the drain hose to connection (4).
Place a suction valve with filter on the end
n
of the supply hose to prevent the supply
from clogging up.
Place a check valve directly on the drain
n
hose to prevent the pump from being
damaged by water hammer.
Place a shut-off valve downstream from
n
the check valve to facilitate servicing.
Mounting the pump (fig. A)
The machine must be screwed on a solid
underground.
Mark the position of the mounting holes
n
(2) on the underground.
Drill holes at each of the marked
n
positions, adjusting the diameter and
depth of the holes to the screws used.
Place the machine on the underground
n
and insert the screws into the mounting
holes.
Firmly tighten the screws.
n
Before installing or moving the
pump always remove the mains
plug from the wall socket.

n
properly.
Before connecting a water hose,
always unplug the tool.
Filling the pump housing (fig. A)
Before each use the pump housing must be
filled with water.
Remove the screw from the filling point
n
(5).
Fill the pump housing with water until
n
the level is equal to the edge of the filling
point.
Re-insert the screw and tighten it
n
securely.
Instructions for use
Check whether the hoses are connected
n
properly.
Make sure that the supply hose is
n
approximately 0.5 m below liquid level.
Fill the pump housing with water.
n
Switching on and off (fig. A)
To switch the machine on, set the on/off
n
switch (1) to 'I' .
To switch the machine off, set the on/off
n
switch (1) to '0' .
The pump has been fitted with
a thermal protection. In case of
overload the motor is switched off.
After the motor has cooled down
the pump automatically switches
on again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The pump is maintenance free.
Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
n
Defects must only be repaired by an
n
authorised service station.
The pump must not be opened by
the user.
Bleeding the tank (fig. A)
After each use the tank (7) must be drained.
Remove the plug from the mains
when draining.
Remove the water hoses from the pump
n
