I hear unusual
noises.
Ice forms on the
inside of the freezer
compartment.
There is heavy frost
on the door seal.
5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Attention! To avoid electric shock:
◊ Always unplug the product before cleaning.
◊ Never clean the product with a steam cleaner. Moisture can accumulate in
electrical parts and hot vapors can damage plastic parts.
Attention! To prolong the life of the product:
◊ Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents.
◊ Do not use essential oils and organic solvents (lemon juice, acetic acid, etc.).
◊ Do not use sharp objects, not even to remove ice from the freezer.
The product is not level.
The product is touching the
wall or other objects.
A part, such as a pipe, on the
back of the product touches
another part of the product or
the wall.
Noise (compressor, refrigerant
circulation) can sometimes be
heard during operation.
This is normal.
The door seal is not airtight.
English
Readjust the feet.
Move the product slightly.
If necessary, gently bend
the part out of the way.
This is normal.
The higher the humidity,
the faster ice forms
because moist air flows in
when the door is opened.
This can also happen if
food is frozen at room
temperature. To remove
the ice, see the next
section.
Carefully heat the leaking
parts of the door seal
with a hair dryer (not on
the highest setting). At
the same time, shape the
heated door seal by hand
so that it sits properly
again.
