• The recommendations for storing the product must be strictly followed.
• Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a
(laundry) tub filled with water. Do not allow the product to come into contact with
water. If water does get in or on the product, turn the product off immediately
and contact our customer service department.
• Do not touch the product with wet hands, it may cause shock or other personal
injury.
• Do not cover the product when it is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or
against the product. This may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or
damage to the product.
• Do not put too much food in the product. Distribute the food evenly and do not
exceed the maximum loading capacity.
• Use the product only within the specified temperature range.
• Always place the product on a horizontal, level, stable and non-flammable
surface.
• Do not use the product as a step or ladder, climb on the product or use the
product as a cart. This may result in damage to the product and personal injury.
• The product should not be used to store objects on the top.
• Do not place hot objects in the product. Allow them to cool to ambient
temperature first.
• The product is heavy, keep it in mind when moving it.
• Never lay the product flat, this may damage the cooling circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances (such as ice machines) in refrigeration equipment
unless approved by the supplier for this purpose.
• Do not place carbonated or fizzy beverages in the product. This can cause
pressure on the bottle or can, which can explode and cause damage to the
product.
• Be careful when eating water ices or giving them to children straight from the
freezer compartment, they are still frozen and can cause freezer burn.
• Do not touch frozen objects with damp or wet hands, this can cause freezer burn.
• When ice forms in the product, remove it by turning off the product to allow
the ice to thaw. To do this, remove all contents and keep the door open. Do not
use sharp tools to break off ice. Remove the water with a cloth. Do not tilt the
product.
• Do not use mechanical or other means to speed up the defrosting process other
than those recommended by the supplier.
2.4 Electronics
• Make sure the plug is not crushed or damaged.
• Do not leave the cable(s) hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
• Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
• Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Never lay the cable(s) in a
walkway.
