Before Using for the First Time
1. Carefully unpack the Popcorn Popper and remove
all packaging materials.
2. Wash lid cap and clear Popcorn Popper lid in
warm, soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Place the base on a clean, flat, heat-resistant
working surface.
CAUTION: During popping, the base gets hot.
Make sure the surface is able to withstand heat or
use a trivet to protect the working surface.
4. Remove the rotating rod from the base by turning
the securing knob counter-clockwise. Remove the
securing knob and set aside. (See Figure 2.)
5. Pull the rotating rod up and off the center stem.
Clean the rod with a slightly soapy sponge
or cloth. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and
dry thoroughly.
6. Clean the base's non-stick popping plate with
a soapy sponge or cloth. Wipe with a clean,
damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
7. Fit the rotating rod into the notch on the
center stem. Add the securing knob and turn
clockwise until fastened. Make sure rotating rod
turns freely.
8. The Popcorn Popper is now ready for use.
