• The battery is a consumable, and its usable charge reduces over time� To limit this, make sure
that you follow the "Tips and precautions for charging your battery" indicated on page 9/10 of
this manual�
Multimedia
Error messages when you open the camera
To use the camera, your device must have sufficient free memory and its battery must be
sufficiently charged. If you get an error message when you open the camera, try the following
actions:
• Charge the battery�
• Free up memory by transferring files to a computer (see page 23/24) or by deleting items
from the device�
• Restart the device�
If the issues persist, contact Crosscall's after-sale service�
Photos come out with poor quality compared to the preview
• The quality of your photos can vary depending on the environment (e�g� night-time)�
• Check the resolution in the camera settings�
• Restore the default settings in the Camera app� To do this, open the Camera > Press the three
lines in the upper-left corner of the app > Select restore default settings > OK
Error messages when you open multimedia files
If you get error messages or if you can't open/view multimedia files when you open them on
your device, try the following steps:
• Free up memory by transferring files onto a computer, or by deleting items from the device
(see page 23/24).
• Make sure that the audio file isn't protected by DRM rights (digital rights management). If
the file is protected by DRM rights, you'll need a license or key to be able to open it.
• Make sure that the file formats are supported by the device. If a file format is not supported,
install an application which does support it. To confirm whether a file format is compatible
with your device, you can refer to your device's page on Crosscall�com and consult the
"Features" tables at the bottom of the page.
• Your device is compatible with the photos and videos taken on it� Photos and videos
captured with other devices may not display correctly�
Storage
Data stored on the device has been lost
Always create back-ups of any important data stored on your device� Otherwise, you won't be
able to recover your corrupt or lost data� Crosscall cannot be held liable for the loss of any data
stored on your device�
There's not enough memory space on the device
Delete any data which isn't useful, using the "Manage storage space". To do this, go to Settings
> Storage
> Click on "Manage storage space" and delete the suggested files. You can
also manually delete applications or files that you don't use to free up storage space.
