SET menu, the time/date search mode works during
recording in from 2H to 96H (when using T-120 tape)
mode, from 2H to 128H (when using T-160 tape) mode in
the SP mode, or from 6H to 168H (when using T-120 tape)
mode, from 8H to 224H (when using T-160 tape) mode in
the EP mode.
• If the tape reaches its end during searching, the tape is
rewound and the unit enters the stop mode at the beginning
of the tape.
• Be sure to set T/D SEARCH on the GENERAL SET menu
to the same setting as the tape was recorded with.
Otherwise, searching for the time and date cannot be done
properly.
• You can use the T/D SEARCH only when the alarm speed
is set to SP 2H (when using T-120 or T-160 tape in SP
recording mode), EP 6H (when using T-120 tape in EP
recording mode), or EP 8H (when using T-160 tape in EP
recording mode) and the recorded section is longer than 20
seconds.
