CAUTION
Please wind the watch before you put the
watch on. This prevents lateral pressure
on the winding stem. Please use your
fingernails to pull the crown out and turn
it gently between two fingertips.
Never pull out the crown in a humid envi-
ronment or underwater: the water resist-
ance of your watch is assured only when the
crown is pushed home (and screwed down).
Disable the movement if you do not intend
to use your watch for an extended period of
time. This prevents unnecessary discharg-
ing of the battery.
We recommend that you take your watch
to an Authorized Patek Philippe Retailer
for any battery replacement.
Do not perform any date correction between
9 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
Every year, the date must be corrected five
times – at the end of each month that has
fewer than 31 days.

DATE CORRECTION
To set the date , unscrew the crown completely
(Aquanaut models), pull it gently to position 2, and
turn it clockwise until the correct date appears in the
aperture. Once you have set the date, push the crown
home again (and screw it down).
NON-USE OF THE WATCH
If your watch is equipped with E 23-250 S C caliber
and in case you do not wear it for an extended
period of time, we recommend that you disable the
movement by gently pulling the crown out (unscrew
it first if you have an Aquanaut model) to position 3.
This prevents unnecessary discharging of the bat-
tery. Please note that this recommendation does not
apply to watches equipped with E 15 caliber.
