4. INSTALLATION CONDITIONS / INSTALLATION REGULATIONS
The installation must be carried out by a licensed company and must comply with the local
installation regulations. The electronics housing may only be opened by qualified service
personnel.
To protect the permasolvent primus 2.0 against particulate contamination, a DVGW or
SVGW-approved drinking water fine filter (e.g. permaster) must be installed upstream of
the device in the house installation.
If the inlet pressure exceeds 10 bar, a DVGW or SVGW-approved pressure reducer must be
installed upstream of the device.
To protect the installation site against possible water damage, an adequate floor drain must
exist!
The installation site must be frost-free and the permasolvent primus 2.0 must be protected
against chemicals of all kinds and sources of heat exceeding 40 °C.
The permasolvent primus 2.0 is to be connected to a mains socket with a protective earth
contact.
5. DEVICE INSTALLATION
The shipment must be checked for completeness against the contents described on the
delivery note.
If permasolvent primus 2.0 systems are to be installed in systems that are not used for
the supply of drinking water or are used in combination with other devices for water
treatment/preparation, the expert advice of perma-trade Wassertechnik GmbH should be
sought before the installation.
Installation of PT-P25 or PT-PV25
These devices can be installed in both horizontal and vertical pipelines. The flow direction
can be adjusted accordingly by rotating the connection flange.
1. The connection flange is installed together with the integrated flow turbine in the
existing house installation using the screw connections. In the case of the primus vital,
install the permasolvent vital after the connection flange in the flow direction and bolt it
to this flange.
It is preferable to install directly after the water meter and fine filter or in the cold water
supply to the water heater.
Note! Be sure to observe the arrow for the flow direction on the connection flange and
mount the non-return valve on the inlet side! The installation should be carried out in
such a way that the active unit is easy to exchange.
2. Mount the electronics housing on the upper part of the housing. To do this, remove the
stainless steel holder from the electronics housing and bolt it to the upper part of the
housing of the pressure vessel (fig. 1). Subsequently, hook in and wire up the electronics.
3. Push the 4-pin connector in any position into the contact pins on the base of the water
treatment device (fig. 2). The cable can be fixed to the tension rods with cable ties.
