1.1
General
The trace heating systems are used for heat
retention and heating piping, tanks and vessels.
Safety temperature limiters can be used to main-
tain the maximum permissible surface tempera-
ture. The trace heating systems are used
according to IEC 60079-10-1 in Zones 1 and 2
and according to IEC 60079-10-2 in Zones 21
and 22.
Do not leave this manual or any other objects
inside the connection box during operation.
The trace heating systems may only be oper-
ated for their intended purpose in an undam-
aged and perfect condition and only where
the durability of the materials used is guar-
anteed.
If not assembled correctly according to IEC
60529, the minimum degree of protection
IP54 or IP 66 of the connection boxes or
sleeves with connection cables is no longer
ensured.
Changes to the trace heating systems are not
permitted.
