5. PRE-OPERATION CHECK
5.1. ENGINE OIL LEVEL
The engine oil is a major element which can affect the performances and the life of your material.
Do not use any 2 stroke oil, it would damage the engine. Check the oil level before every use, on
a plane surface when the engine is stop.
1.
Remove the oil filler cap and wipe the dipstick clean. (FIG. 14)
2.
Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the filler neck without screwing it in. (FIG. 15)
3.
If the level is low, add the recommended oil to the upper mark on the dipstick. (FIG. 15).
4.
After adding, don't forget to refit and screw down the oil dipstick.

RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL:
Use class SE (API classification) oil or a higher grade oil according to the table below. (FIG. 17)
SAE 10W-40 is recommended for general, all temperature use. If single viscosity oil is used, select the
appropriate viscosity for the average temperature in your area.
Worms oil recommended : MOTUL-WORMS 10W-40.
5.2. FUEL LEVEL
•
Do not remove the fuel tank cap while the engine is running. Do not refuel while smoking or near
naked flame or other such potential fire hazards. Otherwise fire accident may occur.
•
Make sure you review each warning in order to prevent fire hazard.
•
Do not refill tank while engine is running or hot.
•
Close fuel cock before refueling with fuel.
•
Be careful not to admit dust, dirt, water or other foreign objects into fuel.
•
Wipe off spilt fuel thoroughly before starting engine.
•
Keep naked flames away.
Check the fuel level, if the level is below the level (b) (FIG. 20), the fuel must be refilled until the
maximum level as shown in (a) (FIG. 21). Do not forget to fit the fuel filter in the tank before adding
the fuel to fill the tank (FIG. 22). Use homologated jerry cans only for unloaded petrol fuel transport.
